ABOUT MT BALDY FOOTBALL CONFERENCE 





Upland Pop Warner is a proud member of the Mt. Baldy Youth Football Conference. We compete under the rules and regulations governed by the National Pop Warner Little Scholars Organization. The Mt. Baldy Conference boundaries cover all of the San Bernardino and Riverside counties, as well as, parts of Eastern Los Angeles county. 

There is 13 Pop Warner associations that participate in our Conference: Chino, Diamond Bar, Eastvale, Fontana, High Desert, La Verne San Dimas, Moreno Valley, Pomona, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Rialto, Riverside, San Bernardino and Upland. 

Mt. Baldy Conference is one of the 15 Conferences known as WESCON Region. The WESCON region is one of 8 national regions including conferences all over the United States, Hawaii and Guam.  Consisting of approximately 325,000 young people ranging from ages 5 to 16 years old, Pop Warner is the largest youth football, cheer and dance program in the world.





The Conference has eight divisions of play: Tiny Mites, Jr. Mighty (Mitey) Mites, Mighty (Mitey) Mites, Jr. Pee-Wee, Pee-Wee, Jr Varsity,  Unlimited with special divisions of Flag Football and Challenger. Our Team names are The Highlanders, The Bandits, The Rams, The Chargers, The Outlaws. Our rosters comprise of children ages 5 through 15 years old from Upland, Claremont, Montclair, San Antonio Heights and Mt. Baldy communities. 


We take take the field every year starting with Meet and Greets. The Meet and Greets are non mandatory but highly recommended camps in early May, June and July. Our regular season begins on August 1, 2018 and our season ends sometime between Thanksgiving weekend and the first week of December depending on how far our teams advance in both local and regional playoffs.

  • Pop Warner programs have no tryouts or cutting of rosters.



The mission of the Mt. Baldy Pop Warner Football Conference and the Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. is to enable children to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a safe and structured environment.

  • On-field coaching is allowed for younger age levels.
  • Individual awards are given only for academic excellence, not for on-field activities.

Safe Playing Environment

  • Players are matched by age and weight levels.
  • There are strict mandatory equipment requirements.
  • Pop Warner provides Coaching Clinics and Risk Management Training.
  • An enforced national rule book incorporates time-tested rules.
  • A full-time executive staff supports all local associations and assists in sound policy creation.
